This 5 Ingredient Crock Pot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is the perfect comfort food that the whole family will love. The Garlic Parmesan Sauce paired with the creamy cheesy sauce comes together to make the easiest and most epic pasta ever!
There are two things I love cheese and garlic. I can’t get enough of either and anytime there is an option to put them together I’m sold. This recipe marries the zesty garlic parmesan sauce with cream cheese and a little more parmesan to make a winning combination. This recipe is so amazing it even became a viral Tik Tok recipe!!
Many readers told me they were surprised by the spiciness of the sauce I wanted to make a note of it in the very beginning letting you know this sauce does have a little spice and kick to it! I didn’t think it was spicy but if you are sensitive to heat cut the sauce in half or add sour cream at the end to tone it down.

Quick Dinner – Crock Pot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta
Iโm always on the lookout for a simple recipe that is tasty and quick to prepare. Sometimes when you make recipes that are quick they lack in flavor and depth. This chicken is delicious, tender, and has tons flavor thanks to the Garlic Parmesean Sauce. Another delicious garlic chicken recipe is my one-pot Garlic Butter Chicken with Veggies. Like I said I love garlic!

Gluten Free Garlic Parmesan Sauce
The secret ingredient to this meal is the garlic parmesan sauce which is made by Buffalo Wild Wings and is used on their delectable wings. I just used it on chicken breasts instead. You can buy it on Amazon or Wal Mart, or Target. I did see that my grocery store also had a Garlic Parmesan Sauce in the salad dressing aisle so I’m sure you could easily swap that for this BDubs (Nickname for Buffalo Wild Wings) Sauce but I’m not certain it will be gluten free so please make sure and check the label for gluten. You could always make your own sauce and I found this recipe at The Spruce Eats.
Other Sauce Options that Readers have tried-
Great Value Garlic Parmesan Sauce– This is the Walmart version of the sauce. It is even spicer that the Buffalo Wild Wings Sauce.
Crock Pot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta- Low Carb and Keto
This recipe is a great low-carb and keto choice. The sauce is filled with flavors from cheesy goodness and only has one gram of added sugar. I was so happy to find this low-carb sauce because I feel like itโs very hard to find packaged sauces that are low carb. They are usually packed with sugar. I served this over zoodles, which are zucchini noodles for my low carb hubby and he loved it. We have this zoodle maker which we use all the time. Or you can even buy zoodles at most grocery stores now in the produce department.
Different Ways to Serve Garlic Parmesan Chicken
One of the great parts of this dish is that it is very versatile. If you aren’t in the mood for pasta or don’t want to cook it there are some other ways to serve this meal which I will be making next time!
*Add chopped potatoes to the Crock Pot and cook with the chicken. Easy one-pot dinner!
* Serve shredded chicken on buns
Food Allergies-
Gluten Free
I make everything gluten-free in our house because my husband has celiac disease, which is when you are allergic to gluten. Our favorite pasta is the Gluten-Free Barillla Pasta line. I find that it is the best one at staying together while cooking and the taste is just like real pasta. I used the Barilla Gluten-Free Rotini for this recipe.

Need a new Crock-Pot? My favorite is this Crock Pot 7 quart Programmable Slow Cooker. First and foremost, I love being able to set the timer in case Iโm not home when the food is finished cooking. The Crock-Pot just switches to warm until you are ready to eat. Plus you can lock the lid and just carry it to a party. Not only is it easy to carry but also you will never lose another Tupperware or serving dish again at a potluck party!

Tried this recipe out tonight, and not one drop was left. I used bow tie pasta though. Once done I added dry red chili flakes, parsley and a bit of fresh Parmesan for garnish. So simple yet absolutely delicious!

I’m making it right now and I can’t wait to try it out ๐.

How was it???
JP says
This is a fantastic recipe. I have made this on multiple occasions for our church fellowship meal and I constantly get rave reviews. There are some who can’t do a lot of spicy so when I double the recipe I only put 1 bottle of the garlic parmesan sauce. Thank you for posting it for us.
Allison Treadwell says
Hi JP! I love to hear that and great idea on the one bottle for people who don’t like the spicy flavor of the sauce.
Mimi says
Do you double the milk if you cut down the sauce? I have some peeps that are not fans of spicy,,,but want to make sure there is enough sauce for the pasta
Allison Treadwell says
HI Mimi- Yes if you double the milk that should cut the spice level down or add more cream cheese. Hope that helps!
Marilyn Lawley says
Can’t wait to try it!
Allison Treadwell says
Hi Marilyn! Hope you enjoy it!! Thanks for the comment!
Aireal Robbins says
I made this for dinner last week and it was a bit too โspicyโ for one of my diners. I added a jar of Alfredo to help cut the โspiceโ down a little and it was super delicious! The sauce really marinates into the chicken well. Trying this recipe out with Italian marinade now, hoping itโs just as good!
Allison Treadwell says
Great idea on how to cut the spice! Let me know how the Italian version goes!
NLW says
Are there instructions on doing the chicken on the instant pot? I have seen it for the whole thing, but i just want to do the chicken, and noodles separate for easier shredding
WL says
I’ve gone through a ton of comments but not sure I’ve read this answer yet. I want to try this but we don’t love spicy food and I have one very sensitive eater… I saw at the grocery store a bottle of Parmesan Garlic DRESSING. Ken’s Steakhouse brand (Salad dressing). Could the be used instead of “sauce”? :-/ I read another comment saying to try to find a sauce w/o red pepper flakes to reduce the heat, which there isn’t any in the “dressing”, but I’m a little nervous to try it since it may not serve the same purpose in a crock pot.
Allison Treadwell says
Hi WL! I haven’t tried the Ken’s because they don’t have it in Arizona but I have had many people say they substitute this for it and it is less spicy. Have you tried the olive garden dressing chicken recipe? That one will not have any spice at all. You just use a bottle of olive garden dressing.
SUSAN LUPOLI says
We enjoyed this! Had a nice kick! will make again. thanks for sharing
Allison Treadwell says
Hi Susan! Thanks for letting me know! So happy you liked it ๐
Brenda says
How many carbs in gluten free pasta ?
Allison Treadwell says
HI Brenda- Looks like 44 carbs in 2 oz of Barilla penne pasta.
Jenn Magnus says
I make this recipe a lot – its so good! I love alone and only cook for myself. Will these freeze well with the pasta in it? Or, next time, should I freeze the chicken portion and add noodles after thawing?
Allison Treadwell says
Hi Jenn! I always recommend leaving the pasta out of any freezer meal because the consistency is always off when you defrost it. Like you said if you just make it through the step until you add the pasta and freeze it that should work great.

Teresa says
I love this recipe, it does have a kick of spicy so I follow complete recipe but only use half bottle of garlic parm sauce.
