- 1 pound bacon cooked and chopped into 1/2 pieces
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cans pork and beans
- 2 cans butter beans or limas drained and rinsed
- 2 cans kidney beans drained and rinsed
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons mustard
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce Sweet Baby Rays is gluten free
- 1 cup water
Brown ground beef and onion until cooked. Drain fat.
Cook bacon and drain fat.
Add beef to bottom of the crockpot.
Layer Bacon on top.
Add kidney, butter beans and pork and beans to slow cooker.
Add mustard, ketchup, tomato paste, barbecue sauce, brown sugar and water.
Mix all ingredients in crock pot and cook on low for 4 hours.
