- 24 oz green beans or 4 cans of canned beans
- 8 slices bacon cooked
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Cook bacon and set aside.
Take 1 tablespoon bacon fat and cook chopped onions in fat until translucent.
Pour green beans, onions, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper into the slow cooker.
Stir to combine.
Cook on low for 4 hours.
Once finished cooking add crumbled bacon to the dish and stir to combine.
