Fall Off the Bone Crock Pot Ribs
These fall-off-the-bone crockpot ribs are made just right in your crock pot.
Servings: 4 servings
- 1 rack of ribs
- 1/2 cup apple juice/cider
- 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup bbq sauce
- 1 yellow onion sliced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
Dry Rub Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Remove membrane off back of ribs and cut ribs into smaller sections, 2-3 ribs per section.
Mix together dry rub ingredients. (see ingredients above) Rub dry rub mixture onto ribs and make sure to press it into the meat. Repeat this on each section.
Place ribs into crock pot and pour honey over ribs.
Pour onions and garlic over ribs.
Pour apple juice and chicken broth over ribs.
Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
Remove ribs from crockpot and transfer to a baking sheet. Brush ribs with BBQ Sauce on ribs and broil for 5 minutes.
