- 3-4 pound chuck roast or your choice of cut
- Canola oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1 stick
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 1 packet brown gravy mix Pioneer is gluten free
- 3-4 pepperoncini
Heat canola oil in pan.
Salt and pepper entire roast.
Sear each side of the meat for 5 minutes.
Add roast to Crockpot.
Sprinkle ranch packet and gravy packet over meat.
Place a stick of butter on top of everything.
Add 3-4 pepperoncini on and around meat. (Add more or less depending on how much heat you like)
Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5.
Shred with two forks.
