Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon cooked and chopped into 1/2 pieces
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cans pork and beans
  • 2 cans butter beans or limas drained and rinsed
  • 2 cans kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons mustard
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce Sweet Baby Rays is gluten free
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef and onion until cooked. Drain fat.
  • Cook bacon and drain fat.
  • Add beef to bottom of the crockpot.
  • Layer Bacon on top.
  • Add kidney, butter beans and pork and beans to slow cooker.
  • Add mustard, ketchup, tomato paste, barbecue sauce, brown sugar and water.
  • Mix all ingredients in crock pot and cook on low for 4 hours.
