Philly Cheese Steak Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef browned and drained
  • 1 sweet onion diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 8 oz cream cheese cut into cubes
  • 1 1/2 tsp Seasoned Salt Lawry's
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 oz rotini pasta

Optional

  • cheez whiz for topping

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess grease. Transfer meat to crockpot.
  • Add chopped bell peppers, onion, Lawry's seasoning salt, and cream cheese to crockpot.
  • Cover with 4 slices of provolone cheese.
  • Cook on low heat for 4-5 hours.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  • Add cooked rotini pasta to the crockpot and stir.
  • Top with additional provolone cheese and melt the cheese under the broiler until golden brown.
  • Optional: top with Cheez Whiz.
