Crockpot Creamed Corn

Make this steakhouse creamed corn recipe from scratch in your Crockpot! Crockpot Creamed Corn is so easy to make and it tastes fancy just like a your favorite steakhouse restaurant.

Steakhouse Creamed Corn Recipe

I love a good steak but most of the time I go to a steakhouse to get the delicious side dishes. While mashed potatoes will always be my first love, creamed corn is a close runner-up. There is something about the sweet corn paired with the creamy sauce that is just irresistible.

The first time I went to Lawry's Steakhouse was when I lived in Los Angeles and they have location of Lawry's in Beverly Hills. Once I had a bite of their famous Lawry's Cream Corn I fell in love. I had only ever had the kind that came out of a can before and this was so much better. The prime rib was also good but not as great as the creamed corn!

And if you are asking yourself is this the same as Lawry's Seasoning Salt the answer is yes!! Lawry's Seasoned Salt is the signature seasoned salt from the famous Lawry's Prime Rib restaurants that I always use to jazz up any recipe. So if you do want to make a steak to go with this steakhouse creamed corn grab your Lawry's Salt to have a true steakhouse experience.

Lawry's Creamed Corn Recipe

If you are like me and love corn then this steakhouse creamed corn recipe is made just for you. You only need 5 ingredients to make this melt in your mouth corn which makes it the easiest side dish you can make. Corn, milk, cream cheese, sugar, and salt. Lawry's uses whipping cream but I have found that the cream cheese gives it the same flavor.

But don't keep this steakhouse creamed corn recipe just for steak! The best part is that it goes with everything... steaks, roast, chicken, BBQ.

Every time I make this side dish no matter what the main course is this always steals the show.

There is something about the combo that almost everyone loves! That's why you can find a variation of it at steakhouse restaurants and BBQ joints everywhere. This is always my go-to for any potluck side or dinner party. My crockpot always comes home empty from everyone going back for seconds!

Thanksgiving Side Dish

Crockpot Creamed Corn

Crockpot Creamed Corn is a classic side dish for Thanksgiving and Christmas! This recipe has always found its way onto our table for these holidays. I love making it in the Crockpot because the stove and oven are in high demand.

Anytime I can do a fix it and forget recipe on those busy days then it gets added to my menu. Plus, everyone thinks this is a fancy side dish because it tastes just like what you get at upscale restuarants.

It is even better because it can stay warm so there is no precise time that it needs to be taken out. I would always give it a good stir 5 minutes before serving but other than that you can just let the crockpot do the work for you!

How To Make Steakhouse Creamed Corn Recipe

Step 1. Pour two cups of corn into the crockpot. Add butter on top of the corn.

Step 2. Add Cream Cheese, and cut into blocks on top.

Step 3. Pour milk over everything in the crockpot.

Step 4. Sprinkle sugar over everything. Add salt and pepper if desired.

My favorite is this Crock Pot 7 quart Programmable Slow Cooker. First and foremost, I love being able to set the timer in case I'm not home when the food is finished cooking and it just switches to warm. Plus you can lock the lid and just carry it to a party. Not only is it easy to carry but also you will never lose another Tupperware or serving dish again at a potluck party!
