Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes are creamy and delicious! These easy no-boil mashed potatoes are fuss free and make the best side dish ever. You will be amazed how smooth and flavorful these mashed potatoes are!

Crock Pot Mashed Potatoes

These Crock Pot mashed potatoes are the perfect side dish for any meal and even though they are a side dish they always shine as the star they are. I love how the garlic adds a deeper flavor to the potatoes and infuses them with garlic.

I always hate when I have to come home and boil potatoes to make mashed potatoes on a busy night. These are perfect because they cook during the day and when you come home you just throw some butter and milk in and mash, Viola! Delectable homemade mashed potatoes are done in 5 minutes. Another delicious side dish that is just as easy is my Crock Pot Creamed Corn.

Mashed Potatoes are actual one of my favorite things in the world! When I was a kid on my birthday I could pick any meal and I always picked mashed potatoes so you know I'm serious about my mashed potatoes!

Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Cream Cheese

Looking to make your mashed potatoes even a little different?? You can jazz up your mashed potatoes by adding cream cheese, shredded cheese or even sour cream. All of these going perfect with the original recipe below. Just make sure to swap out most of the butter and milk so it's not a creamy overload!

The Perfect Thanksgiving Side Dish

Thanksgiving isn't complete without mashed potatoes and this recipe makes it so easy that you just chop them up, throw them in with a few ingredients. These mashed potatoes are the perfect side dish to complement your turkey dinner. I love letting the slow cooker do it's magic for you! There isn't anything better when you have 10 dishes to make on Thanksgiving and you can just throw these in and forget about them until it's time to serve dinner.

There is also a little secret that I didn't know about to making the creamiest mashed potatoes ever until my husband made me my birthday mashed potatoes one year. He uses a potato ricer which requires an additional step but will make the creamiest, softest mashed potatoes ever. If you want to take the extra step you will be amazed by what it does. I love to use it on special occasions like the holidays or my birthday! Here's the one I recommend. I like the commercial version because it gets the job done faster!

Step 1. Combine potatoes, chicken broth, minced garlic, butter, and salt in a slow cooker.
