5 Ingredient Crock Pot Parmesan Garlic Chicken and Potatoes is an easy and delicious one pot dinner. The zesty Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce pairs with the cheesy sauce to make a comforting and hearty meal.
I love when dinner can be prepped and ready to go with in five minutes. Whenever I have a busy day I always go for easy meals. Bonus is when they will be ready with no extra work at dinnertime. This meal really checks all the boxes since it’s quick to prep and all in one!
Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce
Buffalo Wild Wings is very well know for their incredible sauces. When I saw this sauce I knew it was going to be a favorite of mine. The first thing I made with this Parmesan Garlic Sauce was this Chicken Pasta. It was epic and so amazing! But I knew there were going to be tons of other recipes I could make with it. This was my next delicious creation.
This sauce is awesome because it is gluten free and low carb. Most prepared sauces have gluten in them so I always have to be careful since my husband is gluten free. I always read the label because my husband has celiac disease which means you are allergic to gluten.
You can find it on Amazon or at Wal Mart or Costco. I did see that my grocery store also had a Garlic Parmesan Sauce in the salad dressing aisle. I’m sure you could easily swap that for this BDubs (Nickname for Buffalo Wild Wings) Sauce. But if you are gluten free always check the label to make sure it doesn’t have gluten. If you can’t find the sauce I found this recipe at The Spruce Eats, which is a copycat version of it.

Silly question, after filling the garlic Parmesan bottle with milk and pouring that in, do I still add the 1 & 1/2 cups of milk as well or is the 1 & 1/2 cups of milk what goes into the bottle and that’s it ? Hope that makes sense. Excited to try!!!
allisonetreadwell says
Hi Vanessa! That is not a silly question at all. You will only use a total of 1 1/2 cups milk. Pour the milk into the bottle(it’s usually about 1 cup) and then add the extra 1/2 cup milk to the slow cooker. Hope you enjoy the recipe and Happy Crockin!

What kind of sides do you serve with this if any?
allisonetreadwell says
Hi Eve! We didn’t serve anything with it but I think a veggie like green beans or broccoli would be delicious.

Would you know what the cook times would be for using frozen chicken?
allisonetreadwell says
I would give it an extra 2 hours.

Brooke Laws says
So the flavor is good but the cream cheese never fully melted and there seemed to be more sauce than there should have been. I used chicken thighs and not breasts but other than that I didn’t change anything.
Colleen says
How spicy is this sauce?? Can’t do spicy. At all. Pepper even burns the inside of my mouth.
Allison Treadwell says
Hi Colleen, This sauce is pretty spicy if you are sensitive to spice. I would probably not make it and make olive garden chicken instead. It is used with the Olive Garden dressing instead.
Bonnie says
Can I use russet potatoes? That’s all I have on hand.
Allison Treadwell says
Yes any potato works!
Jennifer says
I’m giving this a try tonight and I’m super excited! Thanks for sharing!
Allison Treadwell says
Hope you love it!
Keri B says
What timing could I use if I have chicken thighs?
Matt Fay says
Hi Keri – If you’re using the same amount of thighs as recommended for breast in this recipe, you wouldn’t have to change timing much, if at all. The only thing is that boneless thigh meat is usually in smaller portions than is breast meat, so you might get a little bit faster cook. But due to the amount of sauce in this recipe I think you’ll be just fine even if you kept the timing the same.
