This 5 Ingredient Crock Pot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is the perfect comfort food that the whole family will love. The Garlic Parmesan Sauce paired with the creamy cheesy sauce comes together to make the easiest and most epic pasta ever!
There are two things I love cheese and garlic. I can’t get enough of either and anytime there is an option to put them together I’m sold. This recipe marries the zesty garlic parmesan sauce with cream cheese and a little more parmesan to make a winning combination. This recipe is so amazing it even became a viral Tik Tok recipe!!
Many readers told me they were surprised by the spiciness of the sauce I wanted to make a note of it in the very beginning letting you know this sauce does have a little spice and kick to it! I didn’t think it was spicy but if you are sensitive to heat cut the sauce in half or add sour cream at the end to tone it down.

Quick Dinner – Crock Pot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta
I’m always on the lookout for a simple recipe that is tasty and quick to prepare. Sometimes when you make recipes that are quick they lack in flavor and depth. This chicken is delicious, tender, and has tons flavor thanks to the Garlic Parmesean Sauce. Another delicious garlic chicken recipe is my one-pot Garlic Butter Chicken with Veggies. Like I said I love garlic!

Gluten Free Garlic Parmesan Sauce
The secret ingredient to this meal is the garlic parmesan sauce which is made by Buffalo Wild Wings and is used on their delectable wings. I just used it on chicken breasts instead. You can buy it on Amazon or Wal Mart, or Target. I did see that my grocery store also had a Garlic Parmesan Sauce in the salad dressing aisle so I’m sure you could easily swap that for this BDubs (Nickname for Buffalo Wild Wings) Sauce but I’m not certain it will be gluten free so please make sure and check the label for gluten. You could always make your own sauce and I found this recipe at The Spruce Eats.
Other Sauce Options that Readers have tried-
Great Value Garlic Parmesan Sauce– This is the Walmart version of the sauce. It is even spicer that the Buffalo Wild Wings Sauce.
Crock Pot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta- Low Carb and Keto
This recipe is a great low-carb and keto choice. The sauce is filled with flavors from cheesy goodness and only has one gram of added sugar. I was so happy to find this low-carb sauce because I feel like it’s very hard to find packaged sauces that are low carb. They are usually packed with sugar. I served this over zoodles, which are zucchini noodles for my low carb hubby and he loved it. We have this zoodle maker which we use all the time. Or you can even buy zoodles at most grocery stores now in the produce department.
Different Ways to Serve Garlic Parmesan Chicken
One of the great parts of this dish is that it is very versatile. If you aren’t in the mood for pasta or don’t want to cook it there are some other ways to serve this meal which I will be making next time!
*Add chopped potatoes to the Crock Pot and cook with the chicken. Easy one-pot dinner!
* Serve shredded chicken on buns
Food Allergies-
Gluten Free
I make everything gluten-free in our house because my husband has celiac disease, which is when you are allergic to gluten. Our favorite pasta is the Gluten-Free Barillla Pasta line. I find that it is the best one at staying together while cooking and the taste is just like real pasta. I used the Barilla Gluten-Free Rotini for this recipe.

Need a new Crock-Pot? My favorite is this Crock Pot 7 quart Programmable Slow Cooker. First and foremost, I love being able to set the timer in case I’m not home when the food is finished cooking. The Crock-Pot just switches to warm until you are ready to eat. Plus you can lock the lid and just carry it to a party. Not only is it easy to carry but also you will never lose another Tupperware or serving dish again at a potluck party!

I made this with Gluten Free Barilla Spaghetti Noodles and I may be obsessed
Betty says
I want to make this dish when we have company. We are in a airbnb and there is not a crock pot available. Can it be made in the oven?
Allison Treadwell says
Hi Betty! I haven’t made it in the oven but I’m sure it will work great. I would make the sauce in a separate bowl and cover the chicken in it and cook at 350 for 35-40 minutes until chicken is cooked. Then cook pasta and add extra sauce if need. Hope it turns out great!
Mitzi Zornow says
I want to cut this recipe in half so jus a half bottle of dressing and 1/2 up of milk ?
Allison Treadwell says
Yes, I would cut the sauce and milk in half. Add a little more sauce at the end if needed! Enjoy!!
Thomas Donaldson says
I made this for dinner tonight. It was amazing. It was a hit for my wife and I. I added some Is Italian bread crumbs on the top It made it even better!
Allison Treadwell says
Yay! So happy you liked it and I bet those breadcrumbs were so good. The crunch would be a perfect compliment to the creaminess.
Amie says
Can sour cream be used instead of cream cheese?
Allison Treadwell says
Hi Amie- I have not tried sour cream by itself but I think it should work fine and will be less spicy. It will not be quite as thick but still delicious!
Suzann Chesek says
I’ve made this a few times and it’s awesome. I’m wondering if anyone has tried to make it a one pot dish and add the uncooked pasta and water at the beginning?
Allison Treadwell says
I haven’t but I would not add it in the beginning. If you want to try it I would recommend adding it at the last 30-45 minutes or the noodles will turn to mush.
Joyce says
I wonder if this can be frozen
Allison Treadwell says
Hi Joyce, I usually freeze it without adding the pasta and then make new pasta when I defrost it.
Davette Jordan says
Can leftovers be frozen?
Allison Treadwell says
Hi Davette! I usually freeze the chicken without the pasta and remake the pasta when I’m going to serve it again. Hope you enjoy it!
Nadine says
Can you use canned chicken for this receipt and how many cans.
Allison Treadwell says
Hi Nadine, I think that would work great. I would use at least two cans of canned chicken. One 12.5-ounce can of chicken is equivalent to approximately 2 chicken breasts. Hope you enjoy it!
Judy says
What would you recommend using to make the left overs not so thick? I would like it more runny, a little less thick. Sour cream? Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup? Milk? Alfredo Sauce? I love the flavor, just want it thinner. Maybe less noodles?
Allison Treadwell says
Hi Judy, I would add more milk to make it less thick. The cream of chicken would thicken it so I would stick with milk.
