3 Ingredient Crock Pot Pork Chops

3 Ingredient Crock Pot Pork Chops are an easy gluten-free meal made with cream of mushroom soup and a packet of french onion dip.

These pork chops are my go-to meal when pork chops are on sale at the grocery store. The whole family loves these pork chops covered in a flavorful gravy. The best part is you only need 5 minutes and 3 ingredients to make this delicious meal. If you only have a few minutes and need to get dinner taken care of this recipe is for you!

3-INGREDIENT CROCK POT PORK CHOPS

Pork chops offer a healthy and delicious alternative to chicken. I find myself forgetting all about pork chops and how scrumptious they are. Crock pot pork chops with cream of mushroom soup make a simple dinner with no chopping needed. This recipe is bursting with flavor thanks to the french onion packet and it’s so easy you just open it up and pour it in. The creamy gravy from the cream of mushroom soup adds the perfect balance to the french onion packet with the subtle mushroom flavor. Plus this meal is great for a busy weeknight. I’m a big fan of pork chops and another great recipe I love to make is these Honey Garlic Pork Chops.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH PORK CHOPS?

This rich and hearty meal goes great with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. I like to serve it with peas but green beans or corn would work too. I don’t know about you but I love to mix all my meat, veggies, and mashed potatoes into one bite. My husband is the exact opposite and keeps all of his food separated. Either way, this meal can be made to your family’s preferences on the sides.

3 Ingredient Crock Pot Pork Chops with mashed potatoes
3 Ingredient Crock Pot Pork Chops plated with mashed potatoes

I always keep a few bags of frozen vegetables in my freezer so I can just pop them in the microwave and have a balanced dinner. Plus, whenever I have leftover mashed potatoes I freeze them. I add those to the microwave rotation and then add some milk and butter when dinners like this come around. It makes it so quick to put together dinner without even having to go to the store or boil potatoes. You could also use refrigerated mashed potatoes to make this a simple meal.

If you don’t want to do mashed potatoes you could serve this over rice or noodles as well! The recipe is so versatile so it can really go with anything. Another delicious pork recipe that uses simple pantry items is this crock pot pork tenderloin.

Food Allergies

All of the ingredients I use are gluten-free. My husband has celiac disease, which means you are allergic to gluten.

You will need to make sure to use gluten-free products to keep this recipe gluten-free.

  • Pork Chops
  • French Onion Packet
  • Cream of Mushroom Soup

You can add a few more ingredients to this recipe if you want to jazz it up. I have added extra baby bella mushrooms and sliced onions.

WHAT PORK CHOPS SHOULD YOU USE?

3 Ingredient Crock Pot Pork Chops in Crock Pot
3 Ingredient Crock Pot Pork Chops in Crock Pot

You can really use any kind of pork chops you want in this recipe. My grocery store only had thin-cut pork chops available so I used those. I made sure to only cook mine for 3 hours on low because they were so thin and I didn’t want to dry them out. However, if you plan on cooking these 3 ingredient pork chops for very long you will want to get a thicker cut. I would recommend a one-inch thickness.

Bone-in pork chops are a great option too. These have even more flavor and can stand up to a longer cooking time as well.

HOW TO MAKE 3-INGREDIENT CROCK POT PORK CHOPS

STEP 1. Add pork chops to the bottom of the slow cooker.

STEP 2. Sprinkle french onion packet over pork chops.

STEP 3. Pour cream of mushroom soup over pork chops.

STEP 4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours. Cook until internal temperature reaches 145 ºF.

STEP 5. Serve with gravy poured on top of pork chops.

Cranberry and Jalapeno Dip

This festive cranberry and jalapeno dip is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy! Make your holidays a little brighter with this creamy and fresh dip that will be the hit of the party.

Get ready for the best holiday party dip of your life! I love cranberry sauce and this is such a creative way to use it. Be careful with this dip because it is so addictive you might eat the whole thing before the party even starts. The sweet cranberry sauce pairs with lime juice to make a combo that makes the ideal dip for the holidays. You can throw this together in a few minutes so you mark the appetizer off your holiday to-do list.

Disclaimer- Some links below are Amazon affiliate links, meaning at no extra cost to you, I will earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase.

Cranberry and Jalapeno Dip

Of course, once I brought this to a party it is now requested along with my chili cheese dip to every party I go to, holiday or not! I use my Cook and Carry Crock-Pot whenever I make a dish that I’m going to take anywhere. You can cook it at your house, lock it up for the drive and then plug it back in when you arrive. No need for any Tupper-Ware again with this bad boy.

HOLIDAY PARTY DIP

I’m all about appetizers that can be easily made and don’t require a lot of prep. This cheesy dip is the perfect simple appetizer to serve for Thanksgiving or a holiday party. The color adds the perfect pop to any event and people can just snack on it until it’s time to sit down from dinner.

Once you add everything for the Cranberry and Jalapeno Dip to the Crock-Pot you are all done until it’s time to serve. That way you can focus on all the other things you have to do to get ready. I would recommend using the Crock Pot Liners for this dip because it can get a little hard to clean if you have it in there for a few hours.

All of my recipes are gluten-free because my husband has celiac disease, which means you are allergic to gluten. This recipe is naturally gluten-free just make sure to serve with gluten-free crackers like these Jalapeno Mary’s Gone Crackers or tortilla chips to keep it gluten-free.

CAN THIS BE SERVED COLD?

If you are trying to get even more ahead for the holidays you could even make this the day ahead of time and serve it cold. One time I was too busy the day of the event to make it and serve it warm so I served it cold. It was delicious! I would recommend still cooking it in the Crock-Pot because the flavors come together when they have actually cooked rather than just stirring it all together cold.

Cranberry and Jalapeno Dip

You can dip anything into this flavor combination so it’s great to bring to any party since it’s gluten-free and vegetarian! I always use tortilla chips, gluten-free crackers, and celery for my favorite dippers but the sky’s the limit.

INGREDIENTS FOR CRANBERRY AND JALAPENO DIP

CRANBERRY and Jalapeno Dip
  • Cranberries– I use canned cranberries for my dish. You can use fresh cranberries but you would need to put them in the food processor and chop them. Also, you would need to add sugar to the recipe so it is not too tart.
  • Jalapenos– Fresh jalapenos are my choice but you never know how hot they are going to be. If you are worried about heat remove the seeds and membrane from the jalapenos before dicing.
  • Cream Cheese– This dip is a festive treat so I always go for the full-fat cream cheese but you could always make it with 1/3 less fat as well.
  • Green Onions– I usually just use the white part for mixing it into the ingredients and save the green tops for garnish,.
  • Lime Juice – Fresh is best for this recipe again. Part of what makes it so delcious is that fresh flavor combination and lime juice is key to that.

HOW TO MAKE CRANBERRY AND JALAPENO DIP

Step 1. Add cream cheese, cranberry sauce, jalapenos, lime juice, and green onions to slow cooker.

Step 2. Stir until ingredients are well combined.

Step 3. Cook on high for 2-3 hours. Stir occasionally.

Step 4. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers. Top with green onions and jalapenos if desired.

Cheesy Crockpot Cowboy Casserole

This hearty cheesy crockpot cowboy casserole will knock your boots off! Loaded with beef, beans, potatoes and cheese this gluten free dinner is easy to prep and dinner will be done for all your cowgirls and cowboys when they come home.

Making this easy crockpot casserole only takes a few steps and then you can leave it all day to cook! Whenever we have a busy week with lots of activities after school I make sure to put this on the menu. It’s so filling you don’t even need a side dish. Everything is included in the one-pot dinner and I love that. Another family favorite one pot dinner is my Cheesy Beefy Taco Casserole!

Cheesy Crockpot Cowboy Casserole

Plus, it is great to keep on warm and if you have people eating at different times they can just come in and serve themselves when they get home. If you don’t have a Crock Pot that has a timer with a warm setting I highly recommend it. I always use this Crock Pot Cook and Carry.

Quick Family Dinner

This budget friendly dinner is a quick dinner you can throw together in the morning. While you brown the meat you just need to chop up the potatoes and onions. I just use a mandolin to chop the potatoes faster and this onion chopper for my onions. Once I’m done chopping, my meat is browned and all the work is done. The rest of the ingredients you just open the cans and pour them in.

But if you want it to be even easier and faster you use frozen diced potatoes and frozen chopped onions. The casserole wouldn’t need to cook for quite as long if you use frozen potatoes so you may want to adjust the cooking time in half so the potatoes don’t become too mushy.

Ingredients for Cheesy Crockpot Cowboy Casserole

Cheesy Crockpot Cowboy Casserole
  • ground beef- browned and fat drained
  • diced onion
  • can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 pounds sliced or diced potatoes
  • diced tomatoes with liquid
  • canned corn- drained
  • kidney beans- drained
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper

Gluten Free Substitutions

All of my recipes are gluten free because my husband has celiac disease. That means he is allergic to gluten which is found in lots of products like bread, soy sauce, canned soups, seasonings and more. The cream of mushroom soup in this recipe can contain gluten if you don’t buy a gluten free version. I always use Pacific Food Cream of Mushroom Soup. Other than that all the rest of the ingredients are gluten free!

Customize Cheesy Crockpot Cowboy Casserole

What I love about this dish is all the ways you can swap it up for what you have available or what is on sale at your grocery store. Here’s a list of great things to add or swap out to your crockpot cowboy casserole.

Crock Pot Chicken Carbonara

Crock Pot Chicken Carbonara

Crock Pot Chicken Carbonara is a savory gluten-free dish that is incredibly easy to make! This ultimate comfort food is filled with bacon, mushrooms, peas, and a secret ingredient…onions and chive cream cheese.

I love a good carbonara pasta, I mean who doesn’t!? Of course, this isn’t a traditional carbonara sauce but it still gets the job done. I know some people are going to give me a hard time about calling it Chicken Carbonara but I swear it tastes so close that I was blown away. This is a decadent meal that we don’t serve often but when we do it I enjoy every bite of it.

Disclaimer- Some links below are Amazon affiliate links, meaning at no extra cost to you, I will earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase.

Crock Pot Chicken Carbonara

There is something about the bacon that just infuses every bite and adds a little taste of heaven. Pair that with mushrooms and peas in a creamy sauce that everyone is sure to love. So I feel like this could be called “quick chicken carbonara”. The best part is it was WAY less work than the real thing! Another easy and flavor-filled pasta dish that you can try is this Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta.

This recipe is so simple with only a few ingredients! I don’t know how I didn’t think to use the onion and chive cream cheese before this. It adds layers of flavor instead of plain cream cheese. I highly recommend it! I’m definitely going to start trying to use a few more flavors like these.

Easy Family Dinner

We love making a pasta dinner because the whole family loves it, kids included! I am always happy to eat a giant bowl of creamy pasta but what I love about this recipe is the chicken adds some much needed protein to the dish. The chicken makes it a complete meal and that way no one is asking for snacks an hour later.

Crock Pot Chicken Carbonara

Feel free to leave out the peas and mushrooms if your kids are veggie-adverse! It is still delicious without them. I just like the addition of veggies to any dish!

All of my meals are gluten-free because my husband has celiac disease, which means you are allergic to gluten. This meal is gluten-free naturally but if you serve it with pasta make sure to use gluten-free pasta. My favorite is the Barilla Gluten Free Pasta. We used spaghetti for this dish!

If you are looking to make it even quicker to make you can always use precooked bacon. Of course, I think making the bacon that day gives the most authentic flavor but sometimes I don’t have the time or want to make the mess of cooking bacon.

Crock Pot Chicken Carbonara Keto Option

This low-carb dinner will be on repeat since it’s a great substitute for your favorite pasta dish. You can easily make Crock Pot Chicken Carbonara keto by leaving the peas out and serving it over zoodles!

Can I use Chicken Breasts instead of Thighs?

Yes, you can sub boneless, skinless chicken breasts in this recipe. Whenever I make chicken breasts I do check after 2 1/2 hours even on low to make sure I don’t overcook them. Chicken thighs have more fat which means you can cook them longer without drying them out.

What Should You Serve with Crock Pot Chicken Carbonara?

This meal is so hearty you can serve it all on its own! However, I always like to make a delicious salad to balance the richness. If I’m serving this to guests (which I do because it’s so good!) I make garlic bread to go with it too. I know, carb overload but sometimes you just have to indulge!

How to Make Crock Pot Chicken Carbonara

Step 1. Melt butter and cream cheese together. Whisk until smooth.

Step 2. Add chicken to slow cooker. Spread cream cheese mixture on top of breasts.

Step 3. Add mushrooms to the slow cooker.

Step 4. Cook on low for 4 hours.

Step 5. Add cooked bacon and peas to the slow cooker once finished cooking. Stir together. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.

Step 6. Serve over gluten-free pasta, potatoes, or rice.

Slow Cooker Queso Chicken Tacos

Make dinner easy with these tasty Slow Cooker Queso Chicken Tacos! If you love queso cheese as much as me then you will love these cheesy, gluten free tacos.

Has anyone else noticed that there are tons of new restaurant sauces available at the grocery stores? I’m a sucker for trying new sauces and love having all these fun new ones to try out in the Crock Pot.

I have been going on a recipe making marathon trying them all out. If you haven’t tried Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta, one of my most popular recipes, using Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce you need to give it a try next!

These cheesy tacos use the On The Border Queso Sauce. My sister actually worked at On The Border when we grew up so this sauce holds a special place in my heart. I could eat On The Border Queso as my meal with their thin and crispy tortilla chips. And don’t even get me started on their fajitas and tortillas!

Slow Cooker Queso Chicken Tacos

On The Border Queso Sauce

The On The Border Queso has a lot of flavor in it. Much more than typical queso. I’m not sure if it’s the real cheese or the bell peppers they include but just be aware that there are lots of spices already in it. Also, I picked up the medium flavor queso and it was a little spicy for my kids. If you are making this for kids you may want to get the mild flavor.

Slow Cooker Queso Chicken Tacos

Slow Cooker Queso Chicken Tacos

Since the On The Border Queso has so much flavor I didn’t want to add any taco seasoning to the recipe. I kept it simple with ingredients I had in my pantry and it turned out great.

All of my recipes are gluten free because my husband has celiac disease, which means you are allergic to gluten. I always use Pacific Foods Cream of Chicken Soup because it is made without gluten.

Slow Cooker Queso Chicken Tacos
  • Pacific Foods Cream of Chicken Soup
  • Salsa
  • Chicken Breasts
  • Green Chiles
  • On The Border Queso sauce

I always have these taco shells in the pantry too. I love a good hard-shelled taco to give the creamy chicken a little crunch. Top with your favorite toppings like shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños.

How to Make Slow Cooker Queso Chicken Tacos

  1. Add chicken, salsa, cream of chicken soup, and green chilis to the slow cooker.
  2. Stir ingredients and cover the chicken with sauce.
  3. Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 1/2 hours.
  4. Remove liquid and set aside.
  5. Shred Chicken.
  6. Add 3/4 cup of On The Border Queso Sauce and reserved liquid until creaminess level desired.
  7. Stir and serve!

How to Store and Reheat Queso Chicken Tacos

Slow cooker queso tacos are best served immediately after they’re cooked. However, if you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days.

To reheat, simply place the tacos on a baking sheet and warm them in a 350°F oven until heated through. Alternatively, you could reheat them in the microwave. If the queso has thickened too much, add a splash of milk or water to thin it out before reheating.

FAQs for Queso Chicken Tacos Crockpot

What are some tips for making the perfect slow cooker queso tacos?

To make sure your queso tacos are extra flavorful and cheesy, be sure to use a good quality cheese. I recommend using sharp cheddar for its bold flavor. In terms of spices, I suggest adding in a little chili powder and cumin to give the queso an extra kick.

What are some other toppings that would be delicious on slow cooker queso tacos?

There are so many delicious toppings that would be great on slow cooker queso tacos! Some of my favorites include diced tomatoes, green onions, sour cream, and avocado.

How do you make sure the tortillas don’t get soggy?

One way to prevent soggy tortillas is by using hard-shell tacos. However, if you prefer soft tortillas, I suggest warming them up in the oven or microwave before adding the queso filling.

Crockpot queso chicken tacos are the perfect appetizer or main course for any party! They’re easy to make and can be customized with your favorite toppings. Plus, they’re a great way to use up leftover queso. If you have any questions about how to make chicken queso tacos, be sure to check out the FAQs section.

Taco Bell Queso Dip

Taco Bell Queso Dip is an easy 4 ingredient dip that features the famous Taco Bell Hot Sauce! This Crock Pot Queso dip is perfect for any party, tailgate or potluck. If you love Taco Bell Hot Sauce you have to try this recipe.

It’s officially football season and next week is the first game so I need to get my dip game in action. Crock Pot Queso Dip is one of my all-time favorites and thought I would pair it with this new Taco Bell Hot Sauce and add some beef to it. If you want an even easier recipe try my Crock Pot Chili Cheese Dip where you don’t even brown the meat.

I was getting my enchilada sauce for Enchilada Casserole and came across this Taco Bell Hot Sauce on the shelf next to it. I’m not sure if it is actually new or just new to me but either way I love the Taco Bell Hot Sauce. They had mild too if you prefer that sauce. I always keep the packets from Taco Bell and keep them in my fridge in case I ever need a little sauce for my tacos.

Taco Bell Queso Dip

Easy Appetizer

If you are anything like me you are more into the appetizers than the actual football game. This dish makes a ton of dip so make sure to invite a crowd. Or be ready for tons of leftovers (hello queso dip for lunch). I can promise you this will be a touchdown with your guests and win MVA (Most Valuable Appetizer). Plus it is really filling because of the ground beef and cheese. I usually have to taste the dip a few times as it’s cooking and sometimes by the time it’s done cooking I’m full. In my opinion, this could be a main dish!

Ingredients for Taco Bell Queso Dip

This Crock Pot Queso recipe is so easy to make. You can serve it right in the Crock Pot to keep it warm. I love bringing this to parties in my Cook and Carry Crock Pot. You only need 4 ingredients to make this cheesy delight.

  • Taco Bell Hot Sauce
  • Velveeta
  • Ground Beef
  • Green Chilis

Substitutions

  • If you don’t like Velveeta just swap it for 2 cups shredded cheese and 4 oz cream cheese.
  • Substitute ground sausage for ground beef.

What to Serve with Taco Bell Queso Dip?

I always serve a few options with my queso dip because there are so many great dippers out there. I always have my favorite dipper, tortilla chips. Make sure and buy at least two bags of tortilla chips because I always feel like I run out after one bag.

Along with tortilla chips I like to add celery and carrots to the mix! Make sure to add an extra bowl of Taco Bell Sauce for people to add extra to their queso dip. I literally dip my queso into the taco sauce for each bite.

  • Tomatoes
  • Avocado

Crockpot Cracker Barrel Hash Brown Casserole

This cheesy and delicious classic gets an upgrade with a meaty addition of ham! Crockpot Cracker Barrel Hash Brown Casserole is a simple, gluten free dish that will wow everyone.

If you have ever been to Cracker Barrel then you know how incredible their hash brown casserole is. I could just eat that every time I go there and nothing else. The secret ingredient is sour cream and once I found that out I realized that I thought I could make a version at home in my Crock Pot.

I went home after breakfast one morning there and started planning it out and my husband said he thought it would be even better with meat in it. Since I love an all in one casserole I thought it would be great to add some ham to it. Another great casserole that is hearty all on its own is my Beefy Potato Casserole.

Crockpot Cracker Barrel Hash Brown Casserole

Crockpot Cracker Barrel Hash Brown Casserole

This dish is so versatile. You can serve it for dinner, breakfast or as a side dish. Hash browns are a magical veggie that transforms itself into whatever you want it to be. Hash browns are traditionally a breakfast item but the more I use them in dinner meals I realize they work anytime! Serve it alongside some eggs for a tasty breakfast or with green beans and chicken for a hearty dinner.

You don’t need very long to prep this dish. The hardest part is chopping the onion. I love to use my Cuisinart Food Processor for chopping onions. You absolutely don’t need to do this step in a food processor. I can’t ever seem to make them small enough when I chop them so I think it’s easier for me to just throw them in there. Everything else just gets poured in and mixed together!

Crockpot Cracker Barrel Hash Brown Casserole

Gluten Free

Since my husband has celiac disease, which means you are allergic to gluten, all of my recipes are made completely gluten free. I had to make a few substitutes to make sure this was gluten free. First is to always make sure to use gluten-free Cream of Chicken Soup. The only brand I have found gluten free is the Pacific Foods Cream of Chicken Soup. There is supposedly a gluten free version of the Great Value Cream of Chicken but I haven’t been able to find it at my local Walmart.

The other part that helps make this dish stay together is the flour. There is only 2 tablespoons but make sure to swap this for a gluten-free flour. I use the King Arthur Flour or the Cup for Cup in my recipes. Both of these taste just like real flour unlike a few that use beans as the main ingredient so I prefer these two options.

Ultimate Side Dish

If you are looking for a pot luck dish to bring to any event this dish is a must make. I can promise you that this dish will be the hit of the event and everyone will ask for the recipe. Everything they make at Cracker Barrel is a tried and tested comfort food that people love so you know its good. This popular recipe goes by so many names like funeral potatoes and cheesy potatoes. But no matter what the name is people love to gobble these up because they go with everything.

I love to make this dish for the holidays too. It’s easy to make in the crockpot instead of the oven and is indulgent. I don’t really love the name funeral potatoes especially for the holidays so I started calling them Crockpot Cracker Barrel Hash Brown Casserole. I mean that is a way better name, I mean who doesn’t love Cracker Barrel!

Crockpot Cracker Barrel Hash Brown Casserole

Meat or No Meat?

This dish is delicious without the meat so if you aren’t a fan of ham you can just skip it! Or if you have leftover bacon or another leftover meat you can throw that in instead.

How to Make Crockpot Cracker Barrel Hash Brown Casserole?

Step 1. Mix melted butter and flour together. Set aside.

Step 2. Add cream of chicken, onions, cheese, sour cream, hash browns and ham. Stir to combine.

Step 3. Pour butter mixture over ingredients and stir.

Step 4. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or low from 4 hours until casserole is bubbling at edges.

Step 5. Optional- Once finished cooking, place under broiler for 5 minutes.

Chick-fil-A Polynesian Chicken

Bring a little Chick-fil-A to your dinner table! Chick-fil-A Polynesian Chicken is made with delicious Chick-fil-A Polynesian Sauce, chicken, bell peppers, onions and ginger. Simple and finger lickin’ good gluten free food! This kid friendly dinner will quickly become a family favorite in your house.

Chick-fil-A Polynesian Chicken

What is Chick-fil-A Polynesian Sauce?

Chick-fil-A is a fast food restaurant that serves tasty chicken sandwiches and nuggets and Polynesian Sauce is their second most popular dipping sauce. Polynesian Sauce is a mix between Sweet and Sour and BBQ Sauce. It has a bold flavor that works perfectly for this all in one dinner. If you have never tried this sauce you are in store for flavor explosion! It’s like your favorite Sweet and Sour Sauce but better. My husband was blown away by how delicious it was in this meal.

If you happen to have a Chick-fil-A near you know how delectable all their dipping sauces are. I recently made another Chick-fil-A recipe using their equally yummy Chick-fil-A sauce in a casserole.

All the recipes I create are made gluten-free because my husband has celiac disease, which means he is allergic to gluten. I always get excited when I find a new sauce, like this Chick-fil-A Polynesian Sauce, that is gluten free. This is especially true for Asian sauces because a lot of the time they include soy sauce which has gluten in it.

Chick-fil-A Sauces Are Now In Store!!

Now you can have your Chick-fil-A fix even at home. You can now pick up Chick-fil-A’s Polynesian Sauce in local grocery stores, Walmart, Target and on Amazon!

I was shopping one day at Walmart and saw they had the Chick-fil-A Sauce and Chick-fil-A Polynesian Sauce in the condiment section so I had to pick them up and take them home immediately. As as bonus, 100% of the proceeds from the sauce sold in stores is used to give Chick-fil-A employees scholarships!

I am a BIG fan of Chick-fil-A!! I didn’t have a Chick-fil-A in Tucson when I was growing up so I was late to the Chick-fil-A game. However, we now have one 5 minutes from our house so I have made up for lost time. My kids especially love there food which gives me even more of a reason to go. We have even done a Chick-fil-A tour and I have a post about Chick-fil-A tips and tricks. I really mean it when I say I love Chick-fil-A.

Easy Week Night Dinner

Next step was coming up a new idea of how to serve this sauce instead of just dipping it in my nuggets and fries. This chicken dinner is so easy to whip up so it makes a simple dinner to toss into the slow cooker around lunch time and have it ready for dinner! You only need 5 ingredients to make this dinner and just a little chopping is required.

Whenever I make meals that include rice I always use my rice maker. This really makes dinner a breeze because I don’t have to make it when I get home. You can turn it on in the morning and set the timer for 5pm. I use the Zojirushi Rice Maker which is amazing. It has a timer (which I always use) and setting for brown or white rice which is helpful. Rice always comes out fluffy and just right!

Chick-fil-A Sauce Casserole

The famous Chick-fil-A Sauce is the star of the easy Chick-fil-A Sauce Casserole! Try this gluten-free recipe for a family favorite that everyone will crave. Simply layer potatoes, chicken, bacon, Chick-fil-A Sauce, cream cheese, onions, and bell peppers for one phenomenal dinner. The Chick-fil-A Sauce flavor bakes into the dish and infuses its unique flavor in every bite.

UPDATED RECIPE!

I love hearing from all my fellow Crock Potters and I heard some feedback that this dish needed a little more pizazz to it! So I went ahead and tried 5 more versions until I created this new version. It has some savory bacon to balance the sweet Chick-fil-A sauce and bell peppers to add some crunch. I did swap out the frozen potatoes for real diced potatoes so they are more firm at the end of cooking.

I’m beyond excited about this recipe because I love sauces and this might be my favorite yet! When I go to restaurants if there is sauce available I will try every one of the sauces (And yes I have tried every sauce at Chick-fil-A). So when I found Chick-fil-A Sauce at the store I did a little happy dance. If you haven’t tried my Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta it is another easy dinner made with Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce.

Chick-fil-A Sauce Casserole

What is Chick-fil-A Sauce?

Chick-fil-A sauce is the perfect blend between a smokey BBQ sauce and honey mustard. Chick-fil-A tweeted out in 2012 that the Chick-fil-A sauce is just a mixture of honey mustard, barbecue sauce, and ranch dressing. Yes, that’s it… but good luck trying to get those amounts just right to make your own at home. This sauce is so good you will want to eat it with a spoon. I think I actually go to Chick-fil-A more for this sauce than for the nuggets themselves. I could easily use an entire dipping container on a single nugget!

Where to get Chick-fil-A Sauce?

Until now the only place you could get your hands on this sauce was at your local fast food chain Chick-fil-A in tiny little cups. However, I was walking through Walmart the other day minding my own business in the condiment aisle and saw the Chick-fil-A logo from the corner of my eye. As I got closer I saw my eyes weren’t tricking me Chick-fil-A Sauce was sitting on the shelf along with their Polynesian Sauce (that recipe coming soon).

Chick-fil-A sauce is now available in stores. I do worry a little bit because it says limited edition so I’m hoping that doesn’t mean they are going to stop selling them at stores anytime soon. So if you want to try this you may want to pick it up sooner rather than later.

You can get it at Walmart, Target, Amazon and lots of grocery stores. It is located in the BBQ and condiment aisle. The best part about the Chick-fil-A sauce that is available at store is that 100% of the proceeds go to scholarships for Chick-fil-A employees. I can’t imagine a better reason to give this sauce a try!

Easy Casseroles for the Win

I love a sauce that I can take and make it into a new dish! I started with an idea to make shredded chicken sandwiches with it but decided it could probably be made into something even better. I’ve always loved a good casserole so I thought that this sauce would be a great base for a fun new casserole. Of course, I want it to be fast to make so it has simple ingredients that only take a few minutes to prep!

Chick-fil-A Sauce Casserole

Since I love to dip my fries and nuggets in Chick-fil-A sauce I figured I would need some potatoes in the casserole. The first time I made this I used frozen diced potatoes. However, a few people have said the potatoes turn too mushy when it is finished cooking so I recommend using fresh diced potatoes so they hole their texture longer.

This one-pot dinner has everything you need for a full dinner. I did add a green salad to have a few more veggies but it is filling and you could easily serve it alone.

How to Make Chick-fil-A Sauce Casserole

Step 1. Add 2 pounds of cubed chicken and diced potatoes into the slow cooker bowl.

Chick-fil-A Sauce Casserole

Step 2. Pour 8 oz Chick-fil-A Sauce, 8 oz cream cheese, bell peppers, bacon, rosemary and chopped onions on top of chicken. Mix everything until it is combined.

Step 3. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours until potatoes are tender.

Step 4. Serve with shredded cheese, more bacon, and green onions.

Chick-fil-A Sauce Casserole

Tips

  • Make sure to salt to taste once it has finished cooking! This is one of my biggest tips on every meal you make. Everyone has a different preference for salt so it’s always better to salt at the end so you can get it to your liking.
  • Add a little more sauce at the end for a bolder flavor. Again, I love sauce so I like to add a little more.
  • Top with crumbled bacon or fritos chips for a little crunch.

Making casseroles is one of my favorite things to make in the Crock Pot! I always love having dinner all ready for me when I come home from a long day. If you want some more casserole ideas check out these recipes!
